the description of "SATURNO" system |
|
SYSTEM COMPONENTS:
"Saturno" system consists of the following elements:
- "CV1m" extruded section in EN 6060 T5 aluminium alloy
(or similar upon need):
- "T4" extruded section in EN 6060 T5 aluminium alloy;
- "T4" and "CD4c" hooks to support sheets
in EN 14310 (AISI 301) stainless steel;
- "CD4c" fixing springs of the hooks to the "CV1m"
section and "V7" EN 14310 (AISI 301) treated stainless
steel;
- "A12" and "B12" standard bearing brackets
made IN EN 6060 T5 extruded aluminium;
- fixing screws of "CV1m" section to the brackets,
stainless steel of Class A2;
- straight bracket to anchor small blocks to the wall support
must be of mechanical or chemical resin type upon needs;
- devices to be applied on the sheet backside: "S1"
EN 1.4301 (AISI 304) stainless steel device, "S2" stainless
steel EN 1.4201 (AISI 304) springs, A2 stainless steel fixing
screws for components;
- "S4" EN 1.4310 (AISI 301) hooks to establish support
and alignment of sheets;
- "Lana” hardened and tempered stainless steel springs
to support insulation SHEETS applied to the wall, when needed.

DESCRIPTION OF THE SYSTEM
The system includes the assemblage of the "CV1m" aluminium
vertical section with a pitch depending on the design and the "T4"
horizontal aluminium profile run laid on the horizontal runouts between
sheets with pitch equal to the height of sheets plus runout.
"CV1m" vertical section is shaped to house the following
accessories without drilling;
- wall fixing brackets screwed with stainless steel bolts with
pitch as in the design;
- two "CD4c" hooks to support and retain "T4"
section and the related "V7" fixing springs to be inserted
by means of the suitable tool into the suitable groove of the
vertical rod;
- the bearing springs of the insulating panel are release applied,
if necessary.
"T4" horizontal section is shaped to house "S1"
retaining hook and "S4" supporting hook without drilling
and aligned with sheets. The lack of drilling enables to not affect
the superficial protection (oxidization or electrocolour) and to improve
the life of sections.
The main characteristic of the "Saturno" system is that
the entire anchoring systems supporting sheets is invisible from outside.
This support is made by means of some anchoring devices that are applied
on the backside of each sheet near both upper and lower edges; these
devices enable to fix them to the "T4" horizontal section.
Their number is due to the size of the sheet and the design charges
previewed for the front side.
Each anchoring device provides a double printing inclined on the backside
of the sheet. "S2" springs are inserted into the printings
and wrap that are foldaway threaded into "S1" device and
are fixed to it by means of stainless steel screws. In this way "S2"
and "S1" are integrated with the sheet and enable to bayonet
joint it into the prearranged horizontal frame.
Once laid vertical rods and beams, each sheet can be independently
assembled and/or disassembled in respect of all the others. The frame,
which enables each type of adjustment, can contrast wind action and
enables the thermal expansion of the different components. |

VOLUMES:
- The standard trailing edge is 135 mm plus the thickness of the
covering sheets with a standard adjustment of ± 25 mm.
- The covering sheet standard thickness for this type of system
is 6/12 mm.
The diagram of the standard system is shown in the Document Attached. |
